Supervision of Drilling, Geology and Production Operation of Bangeladeshi Gas Field Was Awarded to MAGMA Energy.

Magma subsurface engineering group including Drilling, Geology and Petroleum Engineering sections was involved in Kailashiita#7 from the beginning to end. Kailashtila gas field is located in Golapganjiupazilla of sylhet district about 13 km east of sylhet Town. The field was explored in 1961.Among the surroundings, Beanibazarstructure lies in the south-East, and Fenchuganji structure to the south-west and Jalalabad to north-west.The structure falls in the north-eastern part of Surma Trough.

This project was proposed by SGFL one of Banglai national production companies. The drilling contractor was BAPEX and Magma was management Consultancy Company of the SGFL.
